Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) invites online applications for State Service Examination (SSE) 2023 for selection of various posts in different departments for total 242 vacancies. All eligible and interested male and female candidates can apply online at CGPSC official website at psc.cg.gov.in from 01st December 2023 to till the application last date 30th December 2023 for CGPSC SSE 2023.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from any recognized university.
Note:- Such candidates who have appeared or will appear at any such examination, the passing of which shall render them educationally qualified for this examination of the Commission. But those candidates who have not been informed about the result and such candidates who want to appear in such qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission in the preliminary examination from all such candidates who have been declared qualified by the Commission for the State Service Main Examination for the main examination. It will be mandatory to submit proof of passing the desired examination along with your application form.

As per Order Government of Chhattisgarh, General Administration Department vide Notification No. F 6-3/2008/1/One, Dated 27.08.2008 & Amendment notifications Combined Competitive Examination called State Services Examination for recruitment to the following services/ posts may be held annually, if required by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission:
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) State Service Examination selection process consist of will Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Physical Test (if required) and Personal Interview.
Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
In the Preliminary Examinations there will be 2 compulsory papers of 02 hours duration each. Both the question papers will have objective type multiple choice questions. There will be four choices of answers for each question out of which one is to be selected. There will be negative marking for wrong answer

Minimum Qualifying Marks : In each Question paper essential qualifying marks for unreserved category will be 33%, and 23% for reserved categories. Second Question Paper - Eligibility Examination shall be of qualifying nature. Marks obtained in this question paper shall not be added while preparing merit list for short listing of candidates for Main Examination. Candidates shall be selected for Main Examination on the basis of merit list of First Question Paper - General Studies.
